By accessing and using gold-api.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

gold-api.com provides a free data API for accessing past and current gold and silver prices ("Data"). The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Service by any third party. Misuse of the Service may lead to your access being restricted or terminated.
4. API Abuse and Spam
To ensure fair usage and maintain service quality for all users, we prohibit spamming or abusing the API. If you send multiple requests per second or otherwise abuse the Service, your IP address may be temporarily or permanently banned from accessing the Service. We reserve the right to ban users at our sole discretion without prior notice.
5. Data Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date gold and silver price data, gold-api.com makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Data provided through the Service. You acknowledge that the Data may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and you agree that gold-api.com shall not be held responsible or liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on inaccurate Data. You are solely responsible for verifying any Data before relying on it for financial or other decisions.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. gold-api.com does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall gold-api.com, its affiliates, or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
8. Refund Policy
We may offer refunds at our discretion if the Service does not perform as expected or if the Data returned is not satisfactory. However, any refunds will be limited to the current billing cycle only. We do not provide refunds for past billing cycles under any circumstances.
9. Ridiculous Clause
By using the Service, you agree to gift a chocolate bar to the CEO of gold-api.com each year on the 29th of February. Failure to do so will not result in any legal action, as this clause is intended as a humorous reminder that not all clauses in Terms of Service are enforceable or applicable.
10. Modification of Terms
gold-api.com reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
